I joined local Councillor Les Hamilton and residents in Vale Park  to highlight the slow rate of progress in improvement works. 

A constituent first contact me regarding this issue several weeks ago and I contacted Brighton and Hove Council to enquire about scheduled improments. I was assured that progress was being made and supplied with a list of things which had been completed, or were due for installation in April. 

However, in early May, I was contacted again by residents to inform me that many of the listed improvements had not taken place.  We have contacted the Council again but as yet have not received a satisfactory response.  After the protest by residents in the Park, I hope that the promised improvements will be carried out for the benefit of the local community.
