Celia Barlow MP joins the 100 strong rally to call for a tougher stance on Climate Change.

On Saturday 5 April, Celia Barlow MP joined over 100 campaigners in Pavilion Gardens, Brighton to call on Prime Minister Gordon Brown to adopt a tougher stance on Climate Change.

Celia and Friends of the Earth protesters were also joined by Brighton Kemptown MP Des Turner to call for the Governemnt's new Climate Change Bill to cover all sources of carbon dioxide emissions.

Celia Barlow said;

'We have had a really good turnout today, and it's very pleasing to see how many people care about Climate Change.  I've had more than 700 letters from my constituents since Christmas on the subject, which shows tremendous commitment from the people of Brighton to seeing a tougher Climate Change Bill adopted.'
